Patrick Cutrone Loaned to Fiorentina

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Wolverhampton Wanderes striker, Patrick Cutrone, is officially loaned out to Fiorentina. The young player was considered unable to show his performance during the match with Wolverhampton Wanderes so he was loaned to another team.

As reported by Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Wolves and Fiorentina have met an agreement about the transfer of Cutrone. The 22-year-old player will be on loan at La Viola until the end of the season with a permanent purchase option.

No wonder the Wolves loaned Cutrone to Fiorentina. Only 2 goals were made since he landed at the beginning of the season with a tag of 16 million pounds. In fact, Cutrone’s resume as an attacker is not bad. He is AC Milan’s top scorer in the 2017/18 season with a score of 18 goals.

The lack of Cutrone’s contribution cannot be separated from the low playing hours with the Wolves. It is recorded the he was only played 3 times by Nuno Espirito Santo as a starter in the Premier League.

The existence of Raul Jimenez as the Wolves goal machine is quite challenging to wear off. The Mexican striker proved fertile through 11 goals for the Wolves in the Premier League and Europa League stages. Moreover, Nuno only needs one central attacker in the 3-4-3 container he carries.

Now, another story with Fiorentina. They only have Dusan Vlahovic as a pure attacker in the intense 3-5-2 basic format they use.

Vincenzo Montella even had time to play Kevin-Prince Boateng in the frontline in his final game before being dismissed. While his replacement coach, Giuseppe Iachini, worked around this by pushing Federico Chiesa as Vlahovic’s tandem.

With the high urgency of Fiorentina plus the familiar atmosphere of the Serie A, the transaction should be a good step for Cutrone’s career.
