DBasia.news – Football became one of the big things affected by the corona virus pandemic which has stopped competition for over two months.
A few competitions ultimately had to end the 2019/20 season sooner, namely Ligue 1 or Eredivisie. Luckily, the English League has decided to continue the competition and the first match will take place on 17 June.
Coming back to the league, the public’s attention seems not only focused on Liverpool who only need two more wins to lock the title, but also on the competition to secure the top four positions. As reported by Goal, Paul Scholes feels confident that Manchester United will be able to realize the target to return to compete in the Champions League.
“I think Man United will be fine. Mainstay players who were previously absent have also returned to the squad, including Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba. Now we all can only wait and see what will happen, but the team certainly “has a chance to make it happen. The match schedule also looks good,” he added.
Manchester United are indeed showing a consistent performance before the competition stops, they even had incised an unbeaten record in 11 consecutive matches.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad is now preparing to re-start the 2019/20 season, in the inaugural match, they will face Tottenham Hotspur on June 20.
