Paulo Dybala Extends Contract After Juventus Successfully Defends Scudetto
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus successfully defended the Scudetto. After the success, Juventus immediately offered a contract extension for Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine national team striker’s contract will expire in the summer of 2022, but he is rumored to be signing a new contract.
Juventus football director Fabio Paratici confirmed that a conversation was ongoing with Dybala. The club is said to be making the 26-year-old continue to be in the I Bianconerri uniform.
“We often talk to representatives and we move forward, despite all the difficulties related to commitments and schedules because matches are played every three days,” he told Sky Sport.
“Even in this period, we talk quite often and are already in a further stage.”
Juventus won their ninth Serie A title on Monday (7/27) thanks to a 2-0 win over Sampdoria.
Unfortunately, in the game Dybala was seen suffering from a thigh injury and had to be pulled out. Juventus must wait for further tests to find out how badly injured the player is ahead of next month’s Champions League match.
Previously, Dybala’s future at Juventus was in a question mark. Several times he was rumored to be released by Juventus. Clubs like Barcelona are also often associated with the attacker.
