Pep Guardiola Does Not Promise to Train in Italy
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, hasn’t thought of training in Italy.
The name Pep Guardiola became the center of conversation during the 2019 summer transfer market. That was due to news of Guardiola’s move to Juventus.
At that time Juventus had just separated from Massimiliano Allegri. Pep Guardiola’s name is tipped to become Allegri’s successor at La Vecchia Signora.
Even so, in the end, Pep Guardiola remained at Manchester City. Meanwhile, Juventus appointed Maurizio Sarri as the new coach.
Ahead of a visit to the San Siro to face Atalanta, Pep Guardiola expressed his opinion about the gossip. Guardiola also called impatiently playing in the legendary stadium.
“I don’t know whether to continue my career in Italy. At the moment, I feel very happy with Manchester City,” Pep Guardiola told a news conference.
“San Siro is a legendary stadium in Europe and the world. This stadium is a special place to play football. If they want to replace it, maybe for the benefit of Inter Milan and AC Milan.”
“I want Manchester City to escape as soon as possible and not think about rotation. I will move according to the rules. We will try to win,” he continued.
Pep Guardiola has been in charge of Manchester City since 2016. The Spanish manager is under contract at least until 2021 with The Citizens.
