Pep Guardiola predicted to leave Manchester City

DBasia.news –  Clinton Morisson is worried Manchester City will lose Pep Guardiola if the sanctions from UEFA regarding FFP violations remain in force.

UEFA declared Manchester City guilty of a Financial Fair Play violation case. The Citizens are considered to have received funds from prohibited means.

As a result, Manchester City are banned from competing in the European competition in the next two seasons. In addition, Man City is also required to pay a fine of up to 30 million euros.

The sentence is predicted to have made Pep Guardiola’s future heat up. Reportedly, the former Barcelona coach was targeted by Juventus.

“If Manchester City can’t play in the Champions League the next two seasons, I don’t see him staying. It won’t look good if he jumps off the ship now,” explained Morrison as reported by the Daily Star.

“They will still have him this season and people still makes Man City the favorite to win the Champions League. However, I don’t know how, Liverpool are the favorites to move forward and win the Champions League this season.”

Morrison rates, another effect that will be experienced by Man City is the difficulty in maintaining star players. In addition, Man City will also lose their fangs in the transfer market.

“Pep Guardiola has won the Premier League several times. He will not be happy with it. Two years without competing in the Champions League? I think it will have a big effect and eventually they lose players,” said the former player.

“Can they bring in players? Listen, Man City is a big club and has all the money. However, when not playing in the Champions League, will players come?”

Manchester City is not standing still in receiving UEFA penalties. They have appealed to the Arbitration Court for Sports. The move was taken by Chelsea when facing a penalty prohibiting registering new players.
