Persija Jakarta Coach Talks About Standing Position

DBasia.news – Persija Jakarta will have the upcoming 2018 Liga 1 match against PSIS Semarang at Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul, Tuesday (18/9). This match will be the pedestal for Persija to enter the leading standing.

Currently, Persija are in the 6th rank after achieving 33 points from 21 matches. Recently, Macan Kemayoran squad got the slight winning 1-0 at Borneo FC home.

“I think all matches are important for the team, the top or bottom. After the victory against Borneo, we got back practicing. We also recovering and planning the strategy. We worked hard. Tomorrow will be an important match for us and we have to work hard. We have to concentrate on the match and win here,” said Persija Jakarta coach Stefano Cugurra, Monday (17/9).

Meanwhile, PSIS Semarang are still in the red zone. Mahesa Jenar squad are in 17th rank with 23 points.

“When we played against PSIS, that’s early in this season and we are still adapting. But we won 4-1. Now it’s a bit different. Like I say, the bottom teams know that they have to achieve the point to leave the degradation zone. Tomorrow will be an important match, not only for Persija but also PSIS,” Teco added.

Stefano Cugurra added that the squad will play without two important players. Sandi Sute and Rezaldi Hehanussa will absent with no card accumulation.

“PSIS just won against PSMS. We have to concentrate. Be careful because we want to achieve more winning,” Teco added.
