Persija Jakarta Return to Patriot Stadium After the Match Against PSIS

DBasia.news – The nomad status of Persija Jakarta will end soon. Apparently, the Macan Kemayoran team will have their basecamp around Jakarta in the near future.

Since June, Persija kicked to Sultan Agung Stadium in Bantul, Yogyakarta, for the home match. Apparently, the representative venue in Jakarta was used for the 2018 Asian Games.

After the 2018 Asian Games, Persija expect to return to their home. They couldn’t use the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium due to the 2018 Asian Para Games on October.

But, Persija can use the stadium outside Jakarta, like Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium Bekasi and Pakansari Stadium Bogor. Macan Kemayoran choose the first venue.

Persija will have the last match at SSA against PSIS Semarang on the 22nd match of Liga 1, September 18. “After Bantul, if God permits we will play in Patriot,” said Persija director Gede Widiade.

The upcoming home match of Persija will be against Perseru Serui on September 28, 2018. Macan Kemayoran have the chance to use Patriot Stadium who is currently under renovation.

Meanwhile, Gede said, Persija have the possibility to return to SUGBK after the 2018 Asian Games. But, the venue with 76.127 seats will only be used for the big match.
