Persija Midfielder Lost One Person Due to Earthquake and Tsunami in Palu

DBasia.news – Persija Jakarta midfielder Sandi Sute revealed that one of his family members died due to the earthquake and tsunami in Palu.

The 7,7 magnitude earthquake happened to Palu and Donggala, Central Sulawesi. Tsunami also happened. 48 people died according to BNPB data.

Hearing this news, Sandi Darman Sute is worried. No wonder, his big family stays in the two areas. Moreover, according to the Persija Jakarta midfielder, his wife’s family member became the victim.

“The situation remains unclear. We can’t communicate at all. It was once established, but the connection lost,” Sandi told the reporters.

“There was also the news of the one family member died, from my wife’s family,” he added.

Sandi heard that his families are evacuating to the mountain area. The situation in Palu and Donggala aren’t good. Moreover, there was also a tsunami due to the big earthquake.

“My family moves to the mountain because the seawater is rising,” Sandi added.
