DBasia.news – Persija Jakarta have a different opinion to Persib Bandung regarding the possibility to postpone the match. Macan Kemayoran want the match to be conducted according to the schedule.
By the police recommendation, Persib Bandung want to postpone the 23rd-week match to September 25, two days later than the initial schedule. Pangeran Biru team sent the letter to PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) as the competition operator.
Persija COO Muhammad Rafil Perdana admitted his objection of the request. Apparently, Persija will have a short break period if the match postponed. On September 28, Persija Jakarta will play against Perseru Serui on the 24th week.
“I’ve heard about the postpone request two days later to Tuesday. We object it considering the match schedule against Perseru Serui on Friday. The time is too close,” Rafil said.
“Once again we won’t speculate about this. We will wait. Wherever it is, we are ready,” he added.
Meanwhile, Persija manager Marsma TNI Ardhi Tjahjoko suggested conducting the match in another venue.
“If the match can’t be conducted in Bandung, why don’t the committee looks for another place, just like what Persija did. But we will follow PT LIB’s command,” Ardhi uttered.
