DBasia.news – Having had zero new cases, the Premier League has continued to announce a new corona virus case. This finding was obtained based on tests on June 8 and 9.

A total of 1,213 people from 20 participating clubs took the corona virus test on that date. In addition to the players, this test also involves coaching staff, to ordinary employees.

“The Premier League can confirm that on Monday 8 June and Tuesday 9 June, 1,213 players and club staff were tested for the corona virus test. Of these, someone was tested positive,” the official statement said.

But the Premier League is unwilling to reveal the identity and origin of the victim’s club. They have done this since the first case finding.

Premier League has done a total of six corona virus tests. There were 14 people who were tested to be positive.

The corona virus test will be routinely carried out by the Premier League until the competition continues. This is one of the protocols in Project Restart.

Previously, Stoke City manager, Michae O’Neill was also tested positive for the corona virus. Which has made their trial match against Manchester United canceled.

Premier League will continue the 2019-2020 season starting June 17. Aston Villa’s match against Sheffield United will be the opening game.
