PT LIB Asked the Commitments from All Parties to Prevent Future Tragedy

DBasia.news – PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) address their concern for the attack and death of a Persija Jakarta’s supporter in the match against Persib Bandung at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Sunday (23/9).

“We are concerned with the tragedy. PT LIB will try the best to vanish any kind of violence in football,” PT LIB CEO Risha Adi Widjaya said.

PT LIB, as explained by Risha Adi Widjaya, will see the fact as a serious incident. The 2018 Liga 1 operator will coordinate with all related parties to solve their own problems according to the authority.

“To all stakeholders in national football, let’s commit in preventing such tragedy. Let’s place football as the unity of this nation,” he added.

In that tragic incident, Haringga Sirila, a Persija Jakarta supporters, died after the attacks by Persib Bandung supporters.

The incident happened in the parking area outside the stadium. He was attacked with woods and many sharp items and died.
