PT LIB Responds BOPI’s Request for Match Termination

DBasia.news – The death of Haringga Sirla on Sunday (23/9) at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium gives a long consequence. Recently, BOPI advised PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru terminate the match.

PT LIB as the operator of Liga 1 competition refused the request. There will be many disadvantages if the match is terminated.

“We received the request from BOPI. Currently, we coordinated with PSSI. We also gave the detailed report to PSSI. Related to the request, we are in process to decide it with PSSI,” said media and public relation of PT LIB, Hanif Marjuni to reporters.

As the anticipation for the repeated incident, Hanif asked the club to obey the competition regulation. That’s the initial step by PT LIB to ensure the Liga 1 will be conducted smoothly.

“We always emphasize the importance of the club to do everything as regulated. Just like what we know, the regulation is decided and detailed,” Hanif said.

BOPI give the 7-days deadline for PSSI to take a decision. More than that, BOPI will withdraw the competition recommendation.
