By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona defeated Leganes 5-0 in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey at Camp Nou on Friday (1/31) early morning Western Indonesian Time. But these results have not made the coach satisfied with the performance of his foster children.
The aggressive game shown by the Blaugrana player produced two goals in the first 45 minutes scored by Antoine Griezmann (4 ‘) and Clement Lenglet (27’). In the second half, Lionel Messi scored two goals (59 ‘and 89’) and Barca’s goal feast was closed by Arthur Melo (77 ‘). From the results of these matches, Barcelona strengthened its speed to the quarter-finals.
The former Real Betis coach said his team played well in minutes 20 to 25. According to him, the Blaugrana lost control of the game after the 25th minute.
“We did a lot of good things. But I’m not at all happy because I had lost control of the game, especially the end at the end of the first half,” Setien said as reported by Four Four Two.
“Don’t think I’m satisfied because we lost control on several occasions in this match, especially at the end of the first half,” he continued.
Post-match, Setien also reported no longer interested in bringing in a new player as a replacement for Luiz Suarez during injury recovery. He has entrusted his team’s front line to Ousmane Dembele who will return to the gridiron in early February after injury.
The success of Barcelona qualified for the last eight of the Copa del Rey complement other teams that also qualify, namely Athletic Club Bilbao, Valencia, Villarreal, Granada, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, and Mirandes. The latter club came as a surprise by eliminating Sevilla (3-1).
