DBasia.news – Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro, didn’t deny that his team missed the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo. However, Casemiro asked his teammate to move on.
Cristiano Ronaldo ended his contract in Real Madrid during the 2018 summer transfer market. After 9 years of playing together, CR7 decided to leave.
Ronaldo joined Juventus with 105 million euro price tag. He signed the four-season contract worth 120 million euro.
After Ronaldo left, Real Madrid tried to be optimists. However, during the first match against Atletico Madrid in UEFA Cup at A. Le Coq Arena, Wednesday, Toni Kroos and friends defeated 4-2.
After the match, Casemiro believed Madrid squad was good enough without Ronaldo. But, the Brasilian player admitted that it was hard to let go of Ronaldo’s presence.

“We are hurt after losing a title but this is just the beginning. We have full confidence in our coach,” Casemiro said reported by Marca.
“Making excuses is not the profile of Real Madrid. Here, we win together and lose together.”
“Of course we missed Cristiano (Ronaldo), but that’s in the past. We can’t hide from that fact: any team in the world would miss him,” he said.
“We don’t have a better or worse squad because of one result, the matter of new signings is for those higher up than me.”
Real Madrid will start the 2018-2019 LaLiga by playing against Getafe at Santiago Bernabeu, Monday (20/8). The next 7 days, Julen Lopetegui squad will visit Girona’s home.
