Reportedly not wanting to return, Cristiano Ronaldo has landed in Turin

A few days ago, it was rumored that Cristiano Ronaldo was reluctant to return to Turin. This was related to the news that Paulo Dybala was still positive of COVID-19 in four tests that had been carried out in the last six weeks. He was also criticized because instead he explored Madeira with his girlfriend and child.

Ronaldo requested special permission from Juventus management to return to his hometown in Madeira on March 21, 2020. This was done because his mother, Dolores Aveiro, had to be hospitalized due to a stroke. After his mother recovered, she decided to undergo quarantine there.

According to Portuguese television reports, the Juventus superstar has actually made plans to return to Turin. However, Ronaldo’s plans fell apart as his flight was canceled due to quarantine of the region because of the Corona Virus pandemic.

CR7’s last plan to fly to Turin was also constrained as he would have to transit in Spain. He did not receive permission to enter the country due to flight restrictions. The plan, Georgina Rodriguez and Ronaldo’s four children will live in Madrid. Meanwhile, he will continue to fly to Italy.

Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have changed plans. The reason, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb, he arrived at Caselle Torinese Airport at 22:23 local time with his entire family.

Upon arrival in Turin, Cristiano Ronaldo will undergo an independent quarantine for 14 days according to the applicable protocol. He is scheduled to rejoin the Juventus squad on May 18.

Serie A will most likely be resumed after being temporarily suspended due to the Corona Virus pandemic. Cristiano Ronaldo and colleagues will return to action on the field as 20 Serie A clubs have agreed that the competition will resume.
