Robert Lewandowski Achieves 221st Goal Record, Surpasses the Legend of Bayern Munich

According to Heynckes who coached Lewandowski at Bayern in the 2017-18 season, he was well aware of the 31-year-old striker’s ability and was confident he could score many goals for Die Rotten.

The 221 goals by Lewandowski has now made him ranked third as the top scorer in the Bundesliga. In second place there is a former Schalke striker, Klaus Fischer, who scored 268 goals and in first place Bayern legend, Gerd Muller, who scored 365 goals.
