DBasia.news –  Roberto Mancini is now equaling the all-time Italian record of Vittorio Pozzo in 1938-1939, with a nine-game winning streak. Mancini continues to bring Italy to break the record, after surpassing Liechtenstein 5-0, in the 2020 European Cup qualification at the Rheinpark Stadium, Wednesday (10/16/2019) AM.

This victory has made Roberto Mancini record nine consecutive wins with Italy. In other words, he equaled the record set by Vittorio Pozzo when he coached the Gli Azzurri in 1938.

Even greater, this record was made by Allenatore with his second tier squad. Yes, the eighth match of Group J in Euro 2020 Qualification is playing most of its substitute players.

In the position of goalkeeper, Salvatore Sirigu is there. Other positions include Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Cristiano Biraghi, Bryan Cristante, and Vincenzo Grifo. You could say only Alessio Romagnoli, Marco Verratti, and Federico Bernardeschi who are the coach’s main choice so far.

Nevertheless, GLI Azzurri are still able to display brilliant performance. They even took the lead when the game was two minutes in through Federico Bernardeschi. But the 1-0score lasted until the end of the first half.

Only in the middle of the second half did Italy heat up. Andrea Belotti listed his name on the scoreboard in the 70th minute. Afterwards, they scored two more goals in just five minutes through Alessio Romagnoli and Stephan El Shaarawy.

Andrea Belotti finally secured Italy’s 5-0 victory in injury time. The additional three points has made Alessio Romagnoli and mates be more solid at the top of Group J with 24 perfect points. While Liechtenstein is at the bottom of the standings with two points.
