Roma Have a Neat Record, Maurizio Sarri Starts to be Wary
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus will continue to meet AS Roma. This time Maurizio Sarri’s players will fight the capital club in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia, Thursday (1/23/2020).
The meeting of the two teams in the Coppa Italia is only a week from their match in Serie A. Yes, last week they had just faced each other at the Olimpico and Juventus won 2-0.
Despite having the superiority of winning in the previous meeting, Maurizio Sarri did not want to be conceited. He is still wary of AS Roma, especially since Il Lupi is known to have a good trend in away games this season.
“You just need to see the results they get at home. But they won more points away than at home. They are a team of a high level and that will make our task challenging in the match later, “Sarri said as reported by Italian Football, Tuesday (1/21/2020).
“If we think the match will not be challenging, then we are not realistic. They are a strong team and we have to play the perfect match to continue to win, “he added.
Furthermore, the former Napoli coach cannot guarantee whether the mega star, Cristiano Ronaldo, will play or not. He still wants to obesrve the current condition of the player before making a decision.
“We will
evaluate Cristiano. If he’s fine, he can play three matches in a week. I don’t
see that as a problem. What’s important is that he feels he can do so. Last
Wednesday we made him ready, so for tomorrow we will see, “concluded
Maurizio Sarri.
