Ronaldo Doesn’t Regret Leaving Juventus
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Portugal national team striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been announced as the newest key player of Juventus. During the press conference, CR7 admitted that he didn’t feel any sadness leaving Real Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo had so many sweet moments when he played for Los Blancos. But, he didn’t feel appreciated because El Real didn’t extend the contract and upgrade his salary.
The situation made Ronaldo assigned his agent, Jorge Mendes, to look for a new club. Juventus caught the golden opportunity to secure the 33-year-old player.
“I’m here because it’s a brand new challenge for my career. It’s a big club and usually, players of my age go to Qatar or to China,” said Cristiano Ronaldo reported by Football Italia.
“That’s why I’m very grateful to Juventus for this opportunity because I can go on with my career.”
“The nine years at Real Madrid were wonderful, but it’s a brand new step in my life, so I thank all the supporters with my heart. But I have to focus on this next step,” he added.
Cristiano Ronaldo won some trophies during his nine-year career with Real Madrid, including two La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies. Besides, CR7 won the Ballon d’Or award four times.
