Ronaldo reprimanded for training during Corona Quarantine
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Cristiano Ronaldo received a reprimand from the local government of Madeira, Portugal, for undergoing football training during the quarantine period in the midst of the corona virus pandemic.
Juventus gave permission to Cristiano Ronaldo to return home to Portugal in the midst of the corona virus pandemic. However, the 35-year-old has actually done something wrong.
Cristiano Ronaldo is seen breaking the rules regarding social distancing while training at Estadio da Madeira. The 35-year-old player posed with several people.
No doubt, Ronaldo’s action was reprimanded by the local government. The former Real Madrid player did not receive special privileges.
“Ronaldo does not have special permission to practice. Cristiano Ronaldo has the right to practice as long as he respects the rules like all citizens. There are no privileges,” Madeira’s health secretary, Pedro Ramos, said according to the Daily Star.
“All residents can leave the house and do it as long as they do not cause meetings and maintain a safe distance during training. Therefore, Ronaldo does what we have seen.”
“There are no special rights as we are all the same. We are facing the same pandemic,” he added.
“The best player in the world must use his image to set an example. However, Ronaldo seems to me to have only done a few minutes of training and therefore it doesn’t hurt.”
Indeed, Cristiano Ronaldo played an active role in the fight against the corona virus. CR7 has donated to the Sao Jao hospital, which has the largest COVID-19 cases.
“Everyone must obey the rules of the local government. The public does not know that the power of authority can use their power,” Pedro Ramos added.
