Ronaldo Will Strengthen Portugal in the Nations League Semifinals

DBasia.news –  Portugal national team coach Fernando Santos ensures that Cristiano Ronaldo will return to the Selecao squad for the UEFA Nations League semi-final party.

The Portuguese national team must appear without Cristiano Ronaldo when competing in the UEFA Nations League group phase in 2018. Without Ronaldo, Portugal can still appear mighty and will challenge Switzerland in the semifinals.

“Ronaldo will be part of the full squad that I will announce on May 23,” said Fernando Santos.

“I have no problem at all about Ronaldo’s absence in the group stage. Because he has very clear and reasonable reasons. We have also explained this,” he added.

The UEFA Nations League semifinal and the final party will be held in Portugal in early June 2019.
