Ronaldo Without Goal, Allegri Remained Calm

DBasia.news – Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted that he won’t mind about Cristiano Ronaldo who hasn’t contribute any goal for Juventus. In contrary, Allegri praised Ronaldo’s debut performance.

Cristiano Ronaldo started his debut when Juventus got a 3-2 win against Chievo Verona during the first week of 2018-2019 Serie A match. The Portugal national team captain performed for 90 minutes.

With his reputation as a goal machine, Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t shown his capacity in Juventus. In his debut with La Vecchia Signora, Ronaldo failed to score a goal.

“Ronaldo held out well physically, has only been training with us for seven days and did really well. It’s a pity he wasn’t able to score a goal,” Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.

“It depends on the characteristics of the players near him. Ronaldo had several shots on target today, Sorrentino made several saves.”

“I was most impressed that Ronaldo settled into the team, he was very happy in the dressing room and had his chances,” Allegri added.
