DBasia.news – Real Madrid got a poor record in the LaLiga match. They got defeated 0-2 against Real Sociedad for the first LaLiga match in 2019.

After the match, Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari accused the referee disadvantaged the team. He said El Real should have the penalty kick in that match. He felt weird because the referee won’t look at the VAR.

Willian Jose made Real Madrid had a bad start after scoring the penalty goal at 3′. The referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero appointed the white spot after Casemiro had a foul on Mikel Merino.

In the second half, Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior fell by Geronimo Rulli in the penalty box. But, the referee continued the match and didn’t look at the VAR.

“Everything went against us. We did not get into the game well, we had an unfortunate move in the second minute,” Solari insisted.

The things went worse when Sociedad scored the second goal at 83′. This time, it came from Ruben Pardo’s heading.

“We did everything to turn it around and did not get any goal. We have had chances, but did not put them in,” the coach added.

“And then there was that play that nobody understood why it didn’t end with a penalty. It seems to me like a textbook penalty,” he mentioned.

“We have not spoken with the referees. There are plays that seem obvious in real time, but we believe VAR technology is there to check,” Solari said.

“We are all humans and make mistakes, but if you do not check to correct the mistake, it is difficult to understand,” he said.
