Serge Gnabry Rivals with Miroslav Klose’s Goals in the German National Team
By db-admin
DBasia.news – To score the first 10 goals, Serge Gnabry has managed to compete with the best German national team striker, Miroslav Klose. The German national team top scorer has won 71 goals in 137 appearances. Klose also managed to lead three goals from Gerd Mueller.
When the German national team was held 2-2 by the Argentine national team on Thursday (10/10/2019) AM, Serge Gnabry scored one goal. It was the 10th goal the former Arsenal player had scored with Die Mannschaft. He only needed 11 matches to score 10 goals.
The record was better than Miroslav Klose who needed 13 matches to score his first 10 goals for the German national team. The 10th goal of the player who had defended Bayern Munich and Lazio was recorded when Die Mannschaft won a landslide victory in the group stage of the 2002 World Cup against Saudi Arabia.
Another advantage of Serge Gnabry lies in his consistency. In 11 matches that have been played with the German national team, he only failed four times to score a goal. Meanwhile, Miroslav Klose did not break into the opponent’s goal in eight of 13 matches.
However, Serge Gnabry is not the fastest in the affairs of scoring 10 goals for Die Mannschaft. At least, the Bayern Munich player lost to Gerd Mueller and Klaus Fischer. Mueller only needs 10 matches to pack 10 goals. Fischer was even more powerful for cramming 10 goals in his first eight games with Die Mannschaft.
