Sergio Aguero tempted by his Former Club

DBasia.news –  Independiente is rumored to want to bring back Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero next season. Independiente tried to tempt Aguero by preparing a number 10 jersey.

Aguero is from the Independiente academy. The club, based at the Estadio Libertadores de America, also gave him the chance to make his debut in the Argentine League in 2003 when he was 15 years old.

The attacker had expressed his desire to return to Argentina at the end of his career. This is what Independiente tried to utilize.

“I hope to get the chance to become Kun Aguero’s coach. We were once a teammate and I hope to be his coach. Hopefully that can be realized. We at Independiente have prepared a number 10 jersey for Aguero,” Independiente coach, Lucas Pusineri told Goal International.

Aguero is identical to the jersey number 10. He always wore the jersey in every club he defended like Atletico Madrid and Manchester City.

At the time of his debut at Independiente, Aguero wore the jersey numbered 34. He also had to use the number 20 before switching to number 10.

“The return of Aguero depends on how much he wants. Therefore, I can say there is one great chance Aguero will play again for Independiente,” continued Pusineri.

“When Aguero returns, Independiente lovers will rejoice. People love and idolize him.”

Opportunities for Independiente to repatriate Aguero are quite open. The Argentine national team striker’s contract with Manchester City will end in 2021.
