Series of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Records after breaking into SPAL’s Goal
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus won 2-1 over SPAL in Serie A and Cristiano Ronaldo scored in that match. The goal equaled to Gabriel Batistuta and Quagliarella’s record.
Cristiano Ronaldo had to wait a week to equal Batistuta and Quaglirella’s records. Last week, he was not brought by coach, Maurizio Sarri, when Juventus faced Brescia. Because of that, he failed to equal the record for scoring in eleven consecutive giornata owned by Batistuta.
When compared, Ronaldo can be said to be more powerful than Batistuta and Quagliarella. He recorded 16 goals in 11 consecutive matches, while the Fiorentina legend only made 13 goals. As for the Sampdoria striker, he has only scored 14 goals when he made the record last season.
Not only that, CR7 also added to the series of eleven consecutive games with a hat-trick and three braces. A hat-trick score is a differentiator from Batistuta and Quagliarella. In the 1994-95 season, Batigol was only able to make two braces while setting a record. Meanwhile, Quagliarella only made three braces in a series of eleven consecutive games last season.
Now, Cristiano Ronaldo is aiming for another record that belongs to Batistuta. At the end of the second half of the 1992-93 season to the first half of the 1994-95 season, the Argentine striker kept on scoring in 13 consecutive matches in the Serie A event. To note, Batigol and Fiorentina appeared in Serie B in the 1993-94 season. Matching the record will be a challenge for CR7 as Juventus must face Inter Milan next week.
