DBasia.news – Real Madrid took home three points during a visit to Sevilla headquarters in Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Saturday (5/12) am. In that match, Sevilla goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou set a new record despite losing to El Real.
Bounou also made his name in history as the first goalkeeper to score an own goal in LaLiga this season. He also became the first Sevilla goalkeeper to score an own goal in LaLiga in the 21st century.
Madrid appeared aggressive since the referee blew the whistle to mark the start of the match. Zinedine’s team did not allow the Sevilla players to freely control the ball. This situation made it difficult for Sevilla to develop the game.
The pressure given by Madrid almost made Sevilla goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou make a mistake. Bounou’s effort to make a shot was able to be blocked by Vinicius Junior and the wild ball lead to the goal, lucky to be saved by Diego Carlos.
Madrid received an opportunity in the 21st minute. Toni Kroos curled a shot at the far post but his shot went thin on the left of Sevilla’s goal.
Madrid continued to receive a golden opportunity in the 38th minute. Karim Benzema fired at the far post but was saved by Bounou.
Until the end of the first half there were no goals from Madrid or Sevilla.
In the second half, Sevilla tried to appear more pressing. Sevilla’s efforts made it difficult for Madrid to get out of their defensive area. The Sevilla players immediately pressed every time Madrid had the ball.
In the 52nd minute, Sevilla got a chance through Luuk de Jong. Receiving a cross from Lucas Ocampos, De Jong attempted an acrobatic strike. Unfortunately the ball went right in the direction of Thibaut Courtois.
Three minutes later, Sevilla’s goal was conceded first. The goal was born due to a fatal mistake by goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou who failed to tame Nacho’s cross. The ball that should have been secured, instead turned into the goal. The goal was also considered as Bounou’s own goal.
Sevilla received a chance through a free kick in the 75th minute. But the ball from Gudelj’s kick only hit the outside of Madrid’s net.
Sevilla obtained another opportunity four minutes later through Suso’s individual action. However, the ex-Liverpool curved ball after passing two Madrid players was still thin.
Sevilla continued to pound Madrid’s defense for the equalizer. But until the match was over the score 1-0 for Real Madrid’s victory lasted.
With the addition of three points from this match, Madrid moved up to third place in the LaLiga standings with 20 points from 11 matches. Meanwhile, Sevilla is in fifth place with 16 points from 10 matches.
