DBasia.news – Sevilla won the 10th week of the Spanish league when another match crashed to Valencia at the Osasuna headquarters on Sunday (local time WIB). Entertaining Getafe at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, Sevilla won thanks to goals from Javier Hernandez and Lucas Ocampos, according to the official Spanish League website.
Sevilla dominated the game but the game went deadlocked including when Ever Banega fired a long-range shot that still hit the goalpost in the 62nd minute.
Seven minutes later Hernandez managed to break the deadlock to open the host advantage when he completed a breakthrough bait from Oliver Torres.
Getafe tried to respond but Jaime Mata’s close-range shot was saved by goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik in the 77th minute and a minute later Sevilla immediately punished the failure when Ocampos received a breakthrough from Jesus Navas before breaking into his visitors’ goal.
In injury time, Getafe got at least two more chances through Mata and Kenedy but both were successfully secured by Vaclik to secure Sevilla’s 2-0 victory.
The win lifted Sevilla’s position to fifth with 19 points, while Getafe (13) dropped to 11th.
Valencia fell without Rodrigo Moreno
In another match that took place following at El Sadar Stadium, Valencia fell to a 1-3 defeat by host Osasuna after having to play with 10 players after Rodrigo Moreno was red-carded in the 29th minute.
Rodrigo had the chance to bring Valencia ahead in the 14th minute when he made a close-range finish using a pass from Kevin Gameiro.
However, in the 29th minute, Rodrigo was sent off by referee Santiago Jaime Latre after taking violent action against Pervis Estupinan.
The imbalance in the number of players was put to good use by Osasuna who slowly but surely turned things around.
Oier Sanjurjo equalized first in the 34th minute with his header welcoming Ruben Garcia’s pass.
Then three minutes into the second half it was Garcia’s turn to score with a header when he used Roberto Torres’s cross to bring Osasuna a 2-1 lead.
Osasuna continued to pound Valencia’s defense until finally in the 80th minute Estupinan successfully added the advantage of the host to 3-1 and the score lasted until the fight was over.
These results make Osasuna move up to eighth in the standings with 14 points, including jumping over Valencia (13) who are now down in 12th place.
