Solari Blamed the Wind After Madrid 1-0 Victory Against Huesca

DBasia.news – The only goal from Gareth Bale helped Real Madrid won 1-0 against the LaLiga promotional team, Huesca, Sunday (9/12). Thanks to the victory, Los Merengues could keep the hope in the LaLiga title race.
Madrid hardly achieved the victory against Huesca. Madrid coach Santiago Solari assumed the wind caused the difficulty of his squad to secure three points from Estadio El Alcoraz.
“The wind affected both teams, and made for an ugly game. The players will tell you that the wind made it a less precise game in terms of passing. The wind was an influence,” Solari said reported by AS.
“Some games just turn out this way and they require character – my players show that today. We scored when we needed to and after that, we knew how to defend our lead,” Solari added.
Solari also appreciated the spirit of Huesca who are currently struggling in the red zone with 7 points.
“They put in a very brave game, pressing us and taking risks. They didn’t have any clear chances, but they put pressure on us from corners and when the crowd got behind them right at the end,” Solari concluded.
