DBasia.news – Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo was issued to have a special clause in his contract. The Portugal national team player can get the money if he performs well.
Cristiano Ronaldo went to Juventus from Real Madrid in the 2018 summer transfer market. At that time, El Real was issued to receive 105 million euro from the transfer.
Moving to Juventus doesn’t necessarily makes Ronaldo gets high salary. The former Manchester United player signed the four-season contract with 30 million euro salary for a year.
The amount can be increased if Ronaldo performs with accuracy. Calciomercato who released Don Balon stated that in Ronaldo’s contract, there is a clause stating that he has the right to accept another 5 million euro for each season if he scores one goal for each match.
The number shouldn’t be underestimated. It means, CR7 has the possibility to get an additional 20 million euro salary until his contract ends if he fulfills the requirement.
Unfortunately, Ronaldo is still far from the target. Hence, until the third week of Serie A, the goal record of the 33-year-old player is still zero.
Ronaldo has the chance to start his goal machine when Juventus played against Sassuolo in the fourth week of 2018-2019 Serie A at Allianz Stadium, Sunday (16/9). Currently, La Vecchia Signora lead the standing with nine points.
