Teco’s Comment to Disciplinary Committee’s Sanction to His Three Players

DBasia.news – PSSI Disciplinary Committee gave the sanction to three Persija players, each with the ban for three matches to Ismed Sofyan and Sandi Darman Sute, and two for Renan Silva.

Persija Jakarta coach Stefano Cugurra Teco assumed the PSSI Disciplinary Committee did this to reward Persib Bandung. The Brasilian coach couldn’t help to think why the professional foul on the pitch could lead to the sanction.

Teco said the Disciplinary Committee was wrong in punishing Ismed and Sandi. Apparently, they did the ordinary foul in football.

“I think Ismed and Sandi’s fouls are ordinary in football. I think a yellow card is enough if it’s about sanction, it’s not fair,” Teco said.

“There are too many sanctions for the match. The foul in football is common. Perhaps they want to punish Persib and the players, and they think Persija should have it either. This is not fair,” he added.

Teco believed the Disciplinary Committee’s decision to punish Persib players is reasonable. But the sanction for Persija players is too much.

“Persib were really aggressive, they hit the chest of Persija player,” the 43-year-old coach added.
