Tensions between Mbappe and Giroud have eased

DBasia.news – The internal conflict that hit the French National Team seems to have subsided. Kylian Mbappe admits that he has reconciled with Olivier Giroud.

The two players were involved in a feud. This happened after France defeated Bulgaria with a score of 3-0 in the final warm-up match to the 2020 European Cup.

Giroud scored two goals in the match. However, he criticized his teammates for not providing the ball they wanted.

Mbappe was furious with Giroud. The two players reportedly got into an argument.

However, the situation is now much more conducive. Mbappe is ready to shift his focus to bringing France to the title.

“I spoke with Olivier Giroud, everyone knows what happened. It’s true that I was a little bit influenced by his words, but we won’t mind it because we are here to represent France, that’s the most important thing,” Mbappe said as quoted by Goal.

“What he said didn’t bother me more than that, I’m a striker and I have this feeling 365 times in a game.

After thinking back, Mbappe realized Giroud’s comments were not entirely wrong. Therefore he chose to forget the incident.

“It’s more of a fact that’s put out in public and I’d rather let him come and be more vocal in the locker room. But it doesn’t matter, these are trivial things,” he added.

Focusing on Germany

France will start its work at Euro 2020 by traveling to Germany’s headquarters. The duel of the two teams is planned to take place at the Allianz Arena, Wednesday (16/6) am, WIB.

French coach Didier Deschamps made sure his team were ready for battle. The internal conflict in his squad is completely over.

“I discussed it with the whole team. The most important thing is what happened internally and there are no problems,” said Deschamps.
