Mbappe admits he respects Messi more than Neymar

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Kylian Mbappe has just revealed an unexpected confession. He respects Lionel Messi more than Neymar.

Neymar and Messi are two of Mbappe’s duet partners at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Both of them are superstars who have earned titles.

Mbappe has certainly known Neymar longer as he has been a teammate since the summer of 2017. While Messi only moved to PSG at the beginning of this season.

But Mbappe was more reluctant towards Messi. While with Neymar, he gave him a harsh criticism.

One example was presented when PSG hosted Montpellier in the continuation of Ligue 1, one week ago. Mbappe was caught on camera cursing Neymar as a ‘bum’ as he was annoyed that he was not passed the ball even though he was in a good position.

“Yes, yes, I said it and these are things that happen all the time in football. Just need to make it something that doesn’t last long,” Mbappe told L’Equipe.

“Right after that remembering how the news exploded, I spoke to him (Neymar). We’ve had some disputes like that in the past and it will continue, because we want to win, but there shouldn’t be any particular hatred.”

Mbappe did admit that the dispute with Neymar was nothing new. But he made sure the relationship with the Brazilian national player remained cordial.

Relationship with Messi

Even so, Mbappe wont dare to curse off Messi if he did what Neymar does. He turned out to have great respect for the Argentine megastar.

“I enjoy every moment with him. You can’t forget that it’s still a privilege.”

“He’s someone who loves football. He talks to everyone, tries to integrate in his own way, even though he’s a bit shy.”

“It’s amazing to think that the only other club jersey he has worn, apart from Barcelona, is PSG. We have to realize that this is something extraordinary,” continued Mbappe.

The attitude shown by Mbappe can cause jealousy between Messi and Neymar. This will certainly prevent PSG’s front-line trio from finding harmonization in their play.
