The tight top Four English League, This is Rio Ferdinand’s prediction
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Except for Liverpool and Manchester City, the last two teams in the top four of the English League are still uncertain. Three teams will go head to head for the two positions.
Until week 36, Chelsea and Leicester City have filled 3-4 positions. But they are still far from safe.
Chelsea, who have 63 points, are just one point away from Leicester and Manchester United. Leicester and Man United have the same value and are only separated on goal difference.
With two matches remaining, former United defender, Rio Ferdinand predicts that his former club and Chelsea will be the ticket winners to the Champions League.
Ferdinand considered the schedule of each team. Chelsea will indeed still face champions, Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Although the Wolves are still trying to seal the Europa League tickets, Ferdinand estimates that Chelsea would be the one who will perform all-out.
While Leicester is no less complicated, Brendan Rodgers’ troops still has to fight Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. The problem is, Leicester’s situation is not favorable as a number of mainstay players had to be absent. James Maddison, Ben Chilwell, Christian Fuchs had to be pulled over due to an injury, and Caglar Soyuncu has been suspended.
Manchester United who are seeded to be in the top four is inseparable from their ability to maintain consistency. United have been unbeaten in 19 consecutive matches and that gives them great confidence.
“I first looked at each team’s schedule and thought Liverpool and Wolves, who were Chelsea’s opponents, would give them difficulty,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“But I think Chelsea will beat Wolves on the last day of the season, because there is something to pursue. And in my opinion, West Ham will benefit Man United.”
“I think that the pace of Man United, by the way they have played so far, they have been brilliant and I just think that they will win the last two matches and will definitely qualify,” added Ferdinand.
