Thiago Hopes Coutinho Could Survive with Bayern Munich

DBasia.news – The future of Philippe Coutinho has not been clear after this season. Thiago Alcantara hopes Coutinho will stay with Bayern Munich until next season.

The Brazilian soccer star was loaned out by Barcelona to Bayern until the end of 2019/2020. A total of nine goals and eight assists marked Coutinho’s contribution in 32 appearances.

Although Coutinho’s statistics are pretty good, Die Roten must spend 110 million pounds to permanently secure him next summer. Reportedly, Bayern chose not to activate the purchase option so it is unclear how the fate of the former Liverpool player will be.

In the eyes of Thiago, Coutinho is a capable footballer. The Brazilian international still wants to play with Coutinho in 2020/2021.

Returning to Barcelona is not realistic for Coutinho because he is a surplus player. Reportedly, Coutinho has the potential to graze again in the Premier League after the interest of Chelsea and Newcastle United.
