Thomas Muller prefers Robert Lewandowski over Messi or Ronaldo

DBasia.news – Thomas Muller stated he would rather play with his partner at Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski than Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi or Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Muller has played with Lewandowski for the past six seasons. He certainly was very familiar with the quality of the Polish bomber.

“We at Bayern have Robert ‘Lewan-goal-ski’ (Lewandowski)! I think maybe at the moment he is a better choice than Cristiano,” Muller said as quoted by Goal International.

Lewandowski has indeed become one of the players who can approach the abilities of Ronaldo and Messi in scoring matters. He has won the Bundesliga top scorer four times.

Even so, Muller did not dismiss that Messi and Ronaldo are the two best players in the world today. Both have dominated world football for more than a decade.

The 30-year-old player believes playing with Messi and Ronaldo will make things easier. Unfortunately he did not want to choose who was the best of the two.

“Maybe a few years ago I wanted to play with Leo Messi because I played more as a striker receiving the bait. Right now I play an assist so now Cristiano Ronaldo needs to score more goals,” he added.

“They (Messi and Ronaldo) are great, special and not like normal players. They are amazing because they always play to the maximum extent.”
