Three Years in a Coma, Ajax Player Finally Awakes
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Ajax player, Abdelhak Nouri, is reported to have become concious from a coma. Nouri had suffered an arrhythmia attack, which is a sign or symptom of a heartbeat disruption, during the pre-season match in July 2017.
This exciting news came from his brother, Abderrahim. He said that Appie, Nouri’s nickname, was awake.
“Nouri is awake and sleeping, eating, frowning, but still hanging. ” He hasn’t been home for a while. While at home he looks better than at the hospital. He is no longer in a coma, he is still lying down and still depends on us. ” said Abderrahim on the Dutch TV show, De Wereld Draiit Door.
This news is quite encouraging considering that in 2017, Abderrahim said that Nouri would not recover from his illness.
“He can’t walk, can’t talk, doesn’t know us, doesn’t know where he is. He felt nothing, heard nothing. According to the doctor, he would not be able to do it all again, he would not recover. “Said Abderrahim.
Abdelhak ‘Appie’ Nouri collapsed in Ajax’s pre-season match against Werder Bremen in Lindenstadion Hippach, Austria. Before playing, Appie complained of stomach pain and could not sleep. But he continued to play at the time replacing Chelsea player, Hakim Ziyech, in the second half.
He collapsed in the 72nd minute and was immediately flown to the nearest hospital using a helicopter.
