Timo Werner Fills in the Money Void After Being Left by Leroy Sane
By db-admin
DBasia.news – RB Leipzig striker, Timo Werner, claimed to be ready to replace the left wing position of the German national team left by Leroy Sane.
Leroy Sane is currently undergoing treatment after suffering a knee injury that was quite severe when strengthening Manchester City a few weeks ago. The 23-year player is predicted to only be able to return to playing in 2020.
“Our current situation is indeed not good as Sane must be absent due to injury. His position on the left wing was empty. I want to fill this position and give my party the best performance against the Dutch. I’m sure I can replace Sane, “said Timo Werner.
Besides Sane, Germany will also not be strengthened by Julian Draxler due to a leg muscle injury.
Injuries suffered by the two players has became a blessing for Freiburg star, Luca Waldschmidt. The 22-year-old player received a call after performing neatly with Freiburg this season. Not only that, he was also able to steal the top scorer title at the U-21 European Cup event.
