To Inter Milan Players, Antonio Conte is Thankful
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte, feels it is quite challenging for his club to always have to be at the highest level when undergoing a busy schedule. Therefore, when Inter Milan’s match against Brescia is over, Conte thanked his players.
Inter Milan defeated Brescia 1-2 in the matchday 10 of Serie A 2019-2020, at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, Tuesday (29/10) local time. Two Nerazzurri goals were created by Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
After the match, Conte insisted he did not care about the slanted view on Inter Milan’s performance which could only win narrowly. According to him, it is not easy to appear in four matches in nine days.
“It becomes challenging to talk about the game because the same players are almost always there. They fight to the point of being extraordinary,” said Conte as reported by Sky Sport Italia.
“It was our fourth match in the last nine days, with almost the same players. Any situation or outcome was acceptable at the time. I can only thank them for the enthusiasm displayed to the end.”
“Now, we are only halfway through having another match against Bologna. With the addition of Borussia Dortmund, we will only have seven matches in 20 days before finally resting,” said Conte.
Antonio Conte also accused there were parties who were incompetent in arranging the match schedule. “That is an anomaly and I have never seen anyone else arrange a schedule like that. So, this is very strange for me,” explained Conte.
Indeed, if you look at Inter Milan’s schedule, it is only natural that Antonio Conte praises the players. As in these four matches, Inter won three wins and can only be detained by Parma.
Antonio Conte succeeded in concocting a strategy to deal with a number of important players who were injured such as Stefano Sensi, Alexis Sanchez, and Danilo D’Ambrosio. Which means, the remaining Inter Milan players must always be ready to play as Conte does not have many choices.
Antonio Conte has increasingly been thanking the players as Inter Milan are still at the top of the standings. In fact, at this time, before Juventus held their 10th week of matches, La Beneamata was at the top of the standings with a two-point advantage over their closest opponents.
