By db-admin
DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur continues to provide support to Dele Alli, who became a victim of a robbery. The Lilywhites hope the authorities immediately investigate this case thoroughly.
Alli’s house was attacked by a thief on Wednesday (5/13/2020), early in the morning London time. Two robbers entered into the residence of the Tottenham player with a sharp weapon.
The robbers reportedly had a chance to hold Alli’s family with a knife, to beat the face of the 24-year-old player before running away while possessing valuables such as jewelry and watches.
As a result of these crimes, Alli reportedly suffered a minor injury to his face. Nevertheless, the England national team player admitted that he was in good health.
“Thank you for all the messages given. A terrible experience but we are all fine now. Thank you for your support,” tweeted Alli.
Acts of criminal crime that befell Alli also received a response from the club. Tottenham through their official statement said they were ready to provide support to their player, and urged the police to immediately arrest the perpetrators of the robbery.
“We have offered our support to Dele and those who are isolating themselves with him. We encourage anyone who has all the information to help the police so that their investigations can go smoothly,” said the official Tottenham statement, quoted by Football London.
Until now, London Metropolitan Police are still after the two robbers. Investigations into the case are also being conducted by the authorities.
