Troubled by Sorrow, Spanish National Team Had Trouble Against Romania

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The Spanish national team goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, admitted that Spain had a hard time against Romania because it was still plagued by the death of Luis Enrique’s daughter, Xana.

The Spanish national team underwent a match without Luis Enrique who resigned. Enrique resigns from his coaching position because of an illness affecting his daughter, Xana.

Some time ago, the sad news was heard from the Luis Enrique Family. Xana passed away after suffering from bone cancer for five months.

Apparently, the sad news is more or less affecting the performance of the Spanish national team. La Furia Roja had difficulty when visiting the headquarters of Romania in the continued 2020 European Cup Qualification match.

Kepa Arrizabalaga admitted the tragedy that befell Luis Enrique’s family was not easy for all the members of the Spanish national team. Kepa asked La Furia Roja supporters to encourage Enrique.

“The entire Spanish national team sent a hug to Luis Enrique in this difficult time. This week is quite difficult for everyone,” said Kepa Arrizabalaga.

“You have to keep looking at the future. It’s not easy to do. However, sometimes life gives you a test like this.”

“The Spanish national team wants to continue the victory in the face of the Faroe Islands. We call on all fans in Gijon to honor Luis Enrique,” added the Chelsea goalkeeper.

Before the match against Romania, there was a minute of silence. This was done by the Spanish national team to commemorate the departure of Xana.
