Vinicius Jr. Confidence to Grow in Real Madrid
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid new player, Vinicius Jr, optimists that he will adapt fast with his new club. Vinicius Jr. feels developing each day since joining Los Blancos.
Vinicius Jr. joined Real Madrid during the 2018 summer transfer market. The Brasilian player joined Los Blancos from Flamengo.
Though he is still 18, Real Madrid paid high to get Vinicius Jr. The wing striker was recruited with 45 million euro (Rp754 billion) price tag.
The amount made Vinicius Jr. as the most expensive teenager Real Madrid ever got. His transfer fee exceeded Kylian Mbappe back to the time when he left AS Monaco for PSG.
The high transfer fee made Vinicius Jr. as the future pedestal of Real Madrid. Los Merengues’ fans considered him as the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Juventus.
However, Vinicius Jr. didn’t think that as the burden. Moreover, he said that he could understand the instruction from Real Madrid coach, Julen Lopetegui better.
“I was certainly better (against Juventus) than in the first match. I’ve been improving every day,” Vinicius told Real Madrid TV.
“And now I feel more confident, better physically and tactically, understanding everything that ‘professor’ Lopetegui has to teach us.”
“He is helping us a lot so that we adapt as soon as possible,” Vinicius Jr. continued.
Real Madrid signed Vinicius Jr. with a long-term contract. Vinicius Jr. signed the contract with Les Merengues until June 30, 2025.
