Wanting to Bring in Fiorentina Midfielder, AC Milan Ready to sacrifice Lucas Paqueta

DBasia.news –  AC Milan is reportedly ready to sacrifice Lucas Paqueta to be able to bring in Fiorentina midfielder, Gaetano Castrovill, in the transfer market next season.

Since the arrival of AC Milan in 2019, Paqueta had difficulty showing his best performances. The 23-year-old was only able to contribute one goal and three assists from 36 appearances.

Bthe bad record has now made Paqueta no longer the choice of Stefano Pioli. In addition, Paqueta has been rumored to be leaving the San Siro since the transfer market last winter.

However, Paqueta failed to move as no club could afford a price of 30 million Euros that was set by AC Milan. The Portuguese giant, Benfica, became the team with the highest bid at 20 million Euros which was rejected by Rossonerri.

One club that is said to be interested in bringing Lucas Paqueta is Fiorentina. According to a report from Sport Mediaset, Paqueta will be used for the sake of bringing Gaetano Castrovilli.

Castrovilli has indeed been hunted by many big European clubs. The 23-year-old player successfully stole the attention after performing brilliantly with a record of three goals and two assists from 24 appearances throughout the 2019-20 season.

However, Fiorentina will also not release Castrovilli at a low price. According to reports from the Transfermarkt website, clubs interested in Castrovilli must prepare a minimum fund of 20 million Euros to bring him in to the upcoming transfer market.
