With Mother’s Blessing, Hargianto Presented Goal for U23 National Team

DBasia.news – The defending midfielder of U23 Indonesia national team, Muhammad Hargianto, said his good performance during the match between Garuda Muda squad versus the U23 Taiwan national team was the result of his mother’s blessing who is doing Hajj. In that match, the Bhayangkara FC player scored the goal through his long-kick at 90+2′.

The U23 Indonesia national team started the journey with a good impression in the 2018 Asian Games. The U23 national team defeated the U23 Taiwan with 4-0 score during the Group A match of 2018 Asian Games at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Sunday (12/8).

Stefano Lilipaly (67′ and 77′), Beto Goncalves (71′), and Muhammad Hargianto (90+2′) presented the decisive goals. In that match, Hargianto entered during the second round replacing Evan Dimas Darmono.

“Thank God, I present this goal for my mother who is doing Hajj. Maybe it’s due to her blessing,” Hargianto said.

“I just did it with no purpose, kicking the ball to the nest and turned out it became a goal. Thanks to my parents,” he added.

Next, the U23 national team will play against the U23 Palestine during the second round of Group A match at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Wednesday (15/8).
