World Cup Failure as Leroy Sane Motivation
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, asked Leroy Sane to make the failure in the final round of 2018 World Cup as the trigger. Guardiola assumed that as a motivation.
Sane is becoming Manchester City’s key player during the first season. The Germany player was the best young player of Premier League.
However, Sane’s achievement didn’t make coach Joachim Low bring him to the 2018 World Cup. At that time, Low chose to bring Leon Goretzka.
According to Guardiola, Sane accepted Low’s decision. The Spanish manager assumed this could make Sane stronger.
“Leroy has to accept that this decision may make him stronger. He has another season to show his quality,” said Sane.
“He’s so young and in two years it is another European Championships and then in four years another World Cup. I think it’s the past now,” he continued.
Leroy Sane joined Manchester City during the 2017 summer transfer market. While playing for The Citizens, Sane scored 10 goals and 15 assists in Premier League.
