Xavi Hernandez Was Asked to Return to Barcelona

DBasia.news – Samuel Eto’o suggested Xavi Hernandez to return to Camp Nou as coach while Lionel Messi is still there.
According to him, Xavi must not waste the opportunity to become Barcelona’s manager. Currently, Lionel Messi is Barcelona’s mainstay star. Not surprisingly, Eto’o encouraged Xavi as a coach before the star leaves or retired.
“I have told Xavi that whatever happens, he must return to Barca. That is because Messi is still playing there,” Eto’o said as quoted by Goal Internaisonal.
In January, when Barcelona were about to dismiss Ernesto Valverde, the club had a chance to persuade Xavi. Unfortunately, the former Barcelona player refused the offer which made the club finally chose the figure of Quique Setien as coach.
“Xavi has played together with Messi, and that will make him younger to become a coach later,” he continued.
Xavi himself had stated that he was ready to return to Barcelona and of course if the Blaugrana management offer again.
Barcelona will continue the Spanish LaLiga match 2019-2020 after a long delay due to the corona virus pandemic. The match will take place at the Iberostar Stadium against Real Mallorca on June 14th.
