Zidane Becomes a Strong Candidate for French Coach
By db-admin
DBasia.news – The president of the French soccer federation (FFF), Noel Le Graet, gave a strong signal for Zinedine Zidane to train the French national team to replace Didier Deschamps.
Zinedine Zidane is one of the best coaches that France has. The former Juventus achieved success with Real Madrid including three consecutive Champions League titles.
This makes the French football federation interested in making Zidane coach in the future. Zidane’s chance arises when Didier Deschamps is no longer in office.
Currently, Didier Deschamps is still under contract until 2022. That way, the coach will still train Kylian Mbappe and his friends until the World Cup.
“When Didier Deschamps chooses to leave or his contract is not renewed, if Zidane is willing at the time, he will be the one to accept this job,” Le Graet told Canal +.
Under Deschamps’ care, Les Bleus was transformed into a feared team. In fact, at the 2018 World Cup, France came out as champions.
“In the Qatar World Cup, Deschamps will still be there. Then, maybe after that is Zidane. I don’t know,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane’s contract with Real Madrid will also end in 2022. The 47-year-old coach’s record this season has averaged 2.00 points from 40 matches.
