Zidane’s Response after Real Madrid’s Defeat over Levante
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid lost 0-1 to Levante in LaLiga. Zinedine Zidane was disappointed but he did not panic.
Real Madrid were surprisingly beaten at Levante’s Ciutat de Valencia Stadium. They lost 0-1 by Jose Luis Morales’s spectacular goal just eleven minutes before the fight was over. The defeat has made Zinedine Zidane’s team must come down from the top of the LaLiga standings. However, the coach did not want to dissolve in sadness and disappointment.
“This is how football is and things like this often happens. We have had some good moments throughout the season and achieved negative results in the last two matches, “said Zinedine Zidane as quoted from the official website of Real Madrid.
Furthermore, the former French national team midfielder said, “We must not be beaten. We have to keep going and get through this with strength, courage and energy. We have to accept that defeat and think about this week’s game as we are still playing in another arena. “
Zidane’s hope is not without reason. After the game against Levante, Real Madrid had to undergo two big matches. In the middle of the week, they will host Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League top 16 round. Then, next week, Los Blancos will host Barcelona in the El Clasico match.
“After two matches which made us lose five points, we knew that we had to win a home match. We will do our best (at El Clasico). However, we also have to compete on Wednesday. We know the significance of both matches and must try to win them, “explained Zinedine Zidane.
