DBasia.news –  Stefano Pioli, coach of AC Milan, was forced to lose Zlatan Ibrahimovic in several matches due to injury. Including when against Hellas Verona in Serie A.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is most likely reserved aka can not play because of a virus attack that caused him to catch a cold. This was revealed by the coach, Stefano Pioli.

Not only the Swedish striker, but the coach also made sure their new player, Simon Kjaer, also could not play because of a similar problem.

“For the last two to three days Zlatan and Kjaer have had the flu and I doubt we can play them this weekend. We do not want to force them because that could be worse,” Pioli said as quoted by the US on Saturday (1/2/2020).

“We also couldn’t reduce Rade Krunic because of cramps in his muscles. So we have to think about this issue more mature because some players cannot be deployed,” he added.

Stefano Pioli’s worries grew because Verona came to the San Siro with high confidence. They became the only promotional team that looked stunning by being ranked 10th in the standings.

“Verona is in extraordinary condition. They did a great job this season and will come to the San Siro with determination and confidence. So this will be a difficult game for us, “concluded the coach.
