Zlatan Ibrahimovic Back to Training with Hammarby Amid the Coronavirus Pandemic

DBasia.news –  AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to maintain his fitness and continue his training with the Swedish club, Hammarby. The 38-year-old striker did it amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Worldometers records as of Tuesday (4/14) Sweden had 10,948 cases of the corona virus and 919 people died. The amount is relatively small when compared to other European countries, but training outside remains a risk in itself.

That did not stop former attackers Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG, and Manchester United from continuing to practice maintaining personal fitness.

Ibra has returned to Sweden and spent time with his family because European leagues were postponed because of Covid-19. But Ibra did not just stay quiet and practice at home.

Judging by images from the Swedish media Aftonbladet, Ibrahimovic is currently training with local players at Hammarby, a Swedish club that has a 25 percent stake in Ibra. This is the second time Ibra has practiced.

Sweden does not lockdown as it does in Italy because the situation is not too bad there, clubs are still allowed to train even though the start of the new season is postponed until further notice.

Hammarby could be Ibra’s last destination before retiring. The 116 caps and 62 goals with the Swedish national team previously started their careers from the Malmo FF academy and played in the first team from 1999 to 2001.

He is 38 years old, but Ibra is still in good shape and this season since coming to Milan from LA Galaxy in January 2020 Ibra has scored four goals and provided one assist in 10 matches in all competitions.
